Jenny Clohan – Softball Instructor
Coach Clohan played High School softball for Broad Run High School where she earned All-State Pitcher of the Year for Virginia as a senior… four-time all-district selection and three-time all-state selection… Broad Run Softball Rookie of the Year in freshman season… Broad Run Softball MVP senior year… four-time Washington Post All-Extra and All-Met selection… club team the Virginia Shamrocks won the 2005 ASA Gold national title… picked up the win in the championship game.
As a four year starter at James Madison University she was the school’s all-time leader in starts, appearances, innings pitched and saves. She was the single-season record holder in ERA (1.86) and saves.
Barbara Stephenson – Softball Instructor
Coach Stephenson played her high school and travel softball in West Virginia. She played for the WVa Storm and was a starting pitcher/outfielder for the 2000 ASA National Championship team. She attended St. Joseph’s Central High School in Huntington, WV., where she was a 1st Team All State selection and batted .452. Barbara was the starting pitcher and shortstop on her teams, and was a 4 year varsity player.
Coach Stephenson comes to REPLAY from Florida where she earned her Master’s degree in school counseling, and is CACREP accredited. Prior to earning her advanced degree she attended Marshall University in West Virginia.
While in Florida, Coach Stephenson coached the Varsity softball team at William Raines High School for the past 3 years before moving to Northern Virginia with her husband.
Stephanie St Peter – Softball Instructor
Coach Stephanie graduated from Stone Bridge High School where she was a four year starter at catcher and 3rd base. She was named to the first team all district, first team all region, and All-Met honorable mention for states. She then went on to be a four year starter at catcher at West Virginia Wesleyan College where she graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. She was first team All-Conference and 2nd team All Region while there.
Coach Stephanie started playing for the Ashburn Shooting Stars 12u, and when she turned fourteen she started for the Vienna Stars Gold 18u. She has been coaching Girls travel Softball since 2009.
Maria Zavala – Softball Instructor
Coach Zavala is a former student-athlete from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she was a member of the softball team for four years. Recruited as a utility player, Maria has had experience in the outfield, at shortstop and even behind the plate. Her junior and senior year she played third base and finished her senior year with a batting average of 0.364.
Before attending the College of Charleston, Maria played Varsity Softball at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell. Being a major contributor in the line-up as well as the starting third basemen, Maria helped the team win Conference and State Championships in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Cori Prince – Softball Instructor
Coach Prince is a local star who graduated from Stone Bridge High School where she played shortstop. Cori was a four-year starter for Stone Bridge where she batted .455 over her career. She was a four-time All District player and was an All-Met selection. Cori went on to play college softball at George Mason University as a Centerfielder. Cori enjoys teaching the female athletes of tomorrow.
Tess A’Hara – Softball Instructor
Coach A’Hara is a former student-athlete from the Hofstra University in New York, where she was a member of the softball team for four years. In her four years of playing for Pride she played outfield and was a strong player behind the plate. In Tessa’s four years playing at Hofstra she was second in Program history with 180 RBI’s, as well as 39 career homeruns. Tessa was All CAA and all region in 2010, 2011,2012, and 2013. Tessa also helped the team win three out of four Conference Championships out of the 4 years playing for the Pride.
Before attending Hofstra University, Tess played Varsity softball at St. Marks High school out of Newark Delaware from her Freshman through Senior year. Tessa pitched the majority of her time playing for St. Marks but was a strong asset in the outfield and at the plate as well.
