Jenny Clohan – Softball Instructor

Coach Clohan played High School softball for Broad Run High School where she earned All-State Pitcher of the Year for Virginia as a senior… four-time all-district selection and three-time all-state selection… Broad Run Softball Rookie of the Year in freshman season… Broad Run Softball MVP senior year… four-time Washington Post All-Extra and All-Met selection… club team the Virginia Shamrocks won the 2005 ASA Gold national title… picked up the win in the championship game.

As a four year starter at James Madison University she was the school’s all-time leader in starts, appearances, innings pitched and saves. She was the single-season record holder in ERA (1.86) and saves.


Maria Zavala – Softball Instructor

Coach Zavala is a former student-athlete from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she was a member of the softball team for four years. Recruited as a utility player, Maria has had experience in the outfield, at shortstop and even behind the plate. Her junior and senior year she played third base and finished her senior year with a batting average of 0.364.

Before attending the College of Charleston, Maria played Varsity Softball at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell. Being a major contributor in the line-up as well as the starting third basemen, Maria helped the team win Conference and State Championships in 2008, 2009, and 2010.


Cori Prince – Softball Instructor

Coach Prince is a local star who graduated from Stone Bridge High School where she played shortstop. Cori was a four-year starter for Stone Bridge where she batted .455 over her career. She was a four-time All District player and was an All-Met selection. Cori went on to play college softball at George Mason University as a Centerfielder. Cori enjoys teaching the female athletes of tomorrow.


Kaly Winslow, Softball InstructorKaly Winslow – Softball Instructor

In 2019, Kaly made 51 appearances, starting 48 games. She tied for the team lead in homers (six) and RBI (33). Kaly led the team with a .544 slugging percentage and .392 on-base percentage. She earned a spot on the America East All-Championship team after being second on the team with a .583 average (7-for-12) with a triple and four RBI over the four-game stretch. She finished 10-for-11 on stolen base attempts and picked up four RBI against Maryland Eastern Shore (March 28). Coach Kaly went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a 5-0 upset win over No. 1 UMass Lowell in the America East Tournament (May 9).

Coach Kaly was a student-athlete at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Kaly is primarily a middle infielder, but has collegiate experience at third base and outfield. During her sophomore season, she had a fielding percentage of .1000. For her first two years, Kaly received CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

Before UNCW, Kaly was a four-year starter at Heritage High School playing shortstop, with a fielding percentage of .970 and a batting average of .610. She was named Most Valuable Player and Teammate her freshman and senior season, along with first team all conference, and Washington Post All-Met honorable mention.


Meghan McCormackMeghan McCormack

Coach McCormack has been playing softball since the age of seven, and pitching since the age of nine. She has played competitive travel softball for top level travel teams in NoVa throughout her high school years. She was a standout pitcher for Broad Run HS and was named All-Conference, All-state, and All Region  She was Player of the Year at Broad run high school her senior season with a  record of 19-1 for a team that was 22 – 2.

Meghan is a master of  skills in mechanics as well as the curveball, the rise ball, and change up.

Most recently Meghan was Assistant Coach at Briar Woods HS girls softball team.
